В"The National Board of the Azerbaijan’s Youth Organizations held a march on 14 October 2005 from 16.00 p.m. till 18.00 p.m. in Baku jointly with the All-Republican Youth Movement “Free Youth”. The march started from 20 January Metro station and finished on Galaba square. The action was held aimed at informing the county’s public on achievements of youth organizations and demonstrate that the youth supports the political line of the President ILham Aliyev, Trend reports.
Members of the movement “Ireli” and the youth wing of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) in white T-shirts with inscription “Youth supports ILham Aliyev” were at the head of the rally.
The chairman of the NAP Youth organization Ramin Hasanov told the meeting about the care and attention displayed by the President Ilham Aliyev to the youth, on moves the president takes for development of the state. Hasanov called on the electors to be active and vote for NAP members.
Leaders of Azerbaijan’s youth organizations noted that the internal and foreign policy pursued by the President ILham Aliyev is important for the entire youth of Azerbaijan. They condemned the opposition for their destructive policy saying it affects negatively the future of the Azerbaijani youth.
At the end of the meeting with 40,000 people involved the appeal to the President of Azerbaijan has been adopted.
