Baku road police passes to intensified work regime

The State Road Police (SRP) of Baku passed to intensified work regime on Monday, a source at the SRP told Trend.

The SRP explained the transition to the intensified with the plans of the supports of
ex-Speaker Rasul Guliyev, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) to stage an unsanctioned rally. “The major highway leading to the Heydar Aliyev airport will be under control. The SRP said it will put every effort to keep in order the traffic rules,” the same source said.

The road police said that all district police units of Baku had been attracted to the work. Additional posts were installed in the highway leading to the international airport. The traffic in this route will not ceased fully. Besides, the road police intends to restrict the traffic in the direction of airport for illegal action.

The intensified regime will continue until 21:00pm, the same source said.
