Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to adopt the State Program on development of communications and information technologies of Azerbaijan in 2005-2008 (E-Azerbaijan),Trend reports.
In compliance with the decree, with respect to ensure the implementation of the National Strategy on development of information and communications technologies,communication, information system and technologies in it was resolved to confirm the State Program on development of communications and echnologies of Azerbaijan in 2005-2008 (E-Azerbaijan).
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies has been determined as the coordinating body.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan was committed to take necessary measures to ensure the financing of the State Program on development of communications and information technologies of Azerbaijan in 2005-2008 and other issues set by the decree.
