Talat Aliyev regards releasing of Rasul Guliyev from custody as unfriendly step by Kiev

(UNIAN) - “Azerbaijan appreciates releasing of oppositionist Rasul Guliyev, the leader of the opposition Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP), from custody as unfriendly step by Kiev,” Talat Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine, told Ukranian TV Channel-5, Trend reports.

According to Aliyev, he has issued the note of protest in this regard and expressed regret that public opinion in Ukraine was formed against Azerbaijan. “It is inadmissible. It is should be stopped. We always were friends and must keep this friendship,” the diplomat underlined.

On October the Jeleznodorojniy district court of Simferopol released Guliyev, detained at Simferopol airport on 17 October at order of the International police.
