Establishment of the Azerbaijani-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was put off due to shift of the Polish government,” Voichekh Guretsky, the adviser to the Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Trend.
According to Guretsky, formation of the new government is underway and establishment of the commission will be possible after its formation.
The issue was raised by Abid Sharifov, the Azerbaijani Vice-Premier, in Warsaw for the last time. Azerbaijan expressed interest in establishment of similar commission to develop the bilateral trade-economic relations, while Poland voiced its agreement in this regard. The diplomat hopes that the issue would be solved in early 2006.
