The Baku executive power has not authorized holding of the oppositionists’ march-rally on 18 December on Galaba square, the Baku executive office told Trend.
The city authorities’ return letter specifies, according to the information of the Baku city prosecutor’s office, during the action on 26 November on the Galaba square illegal actions had been performed and calls for violence and mass disobedience had been voiced from the part of the rally’s participants. The action’s organizers have not fulfilled their commitments and at the result the police officers got severe injuries.
Taking it into consideration, the Baku executive power proposed the opposition to hold the action on 18 December from 15.00 till 17.00 p.m. on the stadium (Motodrom).
