The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) approved the mandate of the Azerbaijan parliamentary delegation. During the PACE plenary sitting, the proposal on non-approval of the powers of the parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan has been declined by 100 votes, 67 PACE members voted against it, 16 members abstained. 183 parliamentarians participated in the voting.
The head of the Azerbaijan delegation Samed Seyidov said, the Azerbaijan delegation remained as the PACE plenipotentiary member, Trend reports citing the ATV channel. В"No sanctions from PACE against Azerbaijan will follow, Seyidov stressed.
