Haji Abdul, the chairman of Tovba Society, will participate in the by-elections to parliament to be held on 13 May 2006, Trend reports.
Abdul noted that he did not determine the constituency, where he would ballot from. I will make final decision soon, he stressed. The candidacy of Abdul was withdrawn by the Central Election Committee in the 6 November 2005 parliamentary elections in relation to his religious activities. The candidate addressed to some instances in this regard.
Abdul hopes that the issue will not repeat in the by-elections. It should be mentioned that he is also a chairman of the Socialist Liberal Party. According to Abdul, nobody from the party led by him will participate in the by-elections.
