FFFE Coordinating Consultative Council instructs coordinators in Azerbaijan
For Free and Fair Elections Coordinating Consultative Council (FFFE) held a training-workshop for coordinators on constituencies within the project on independent observation and parallel counting of votes in the 13 May 2006 re-run elections to the Milli Majlis [Parliament], Trend reports referring to the FFFE Council.
Arzu Abdullayeva, the head of the project, Yashar Jafarli, the coordinator of the project, and other experts instructed the coordinators on constituencies. The coordnators were charged in collection of observers within nearest 20 days. They were also instructed to inform the FFFE Council on possible occurences at constituencies. The organizers of the workshop explained mechanisms on prevention of defects, taken place in the last elections.
Besides, Analytic Group of FFFE Council staged a meeting to discuss nomination of candidates and the course of their registration. The participants of the meeting made decision to publicize analysis on this issue at the new conference of the FFFE Council on 17 March.
