The number of malfeasance, forgery and corruption crimes has increased in Army in comparison to the last years, the State Military Attorney told Trend.
He said that the total number of registered by the Military Attorney Office malfeasance, forgery and corruption crimes has doubled in comparison to 2004 figures. By well known reasons I can not provide the exact data on crimes committed in the Armed forces. However, in 2005 we have registered 9, 7% more crimes than in 2004 and this January this figure has grown to 12, 4% more. The analyses of crimes shows that non-military crimes are prevailing, he said.
32, 9% of accused are officers, ensigns and sergeants. In 2004 they made up 24, 3%. As you can see fact of charging officers with crimes are growing, which is a bad tendency, he said.
