A meeting of the political organization headed by former chair of the Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP), Ali Aliyev, was held on 30 April, Trend reports.
Aliyev announced that the gathering discussed the changes to the name of organization that he heads. A number of variants were proposed. We resolved to act under the name Party of Citizens and Development. We are now preparing relevant documents for registration at the Justice Ministry, he underlined.
Aliyev also noted that the date of the conference depends on the resolution of technical issues. It is planned to stage a conference in beginning of May or late June.
