Perspectives of Azeri-Uzbek relationships to be discussed in Baku
Perspectives of the Azerbaijani-Uzbek relationships will be discussed in Baku, adviser of the Uzbek embassy in Baku, Karimov, told Trend. The consultations will be held during the Uzbek delegations visit to Azerbaijan for participation in the ECO Summit and a meeting of the ECO Foreign Ministers due in Baku on 4-5 May.
The delegation headed by the Speaker of the Ali Mejlis [the Uzbek parliament], Erkin Khalilov, includes the head of the Inter-parliament relationships department of the parliament, Fayzulla Abdurramanov, the third secretary of the Foreign Ministry, Abdurrahman Muhammadov. The delegation arrives on 4 May. During the visit it is planned to hold meeting at the Foreign Ministry and Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan, which will center on development of cooperation between the two countries, interaction in the international organizations, as well as perspective of trade and economic relationships.
