PACE Monitoring committee highly appraised the totals of repeat parliamentary elections held May 13 in Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting MP Gultekin Hajiyeva, deputy chairman of Azeri delegation to PACE.
Hajiyeva stated an exchange of opinions held at the session between Azeri delegation and PACE observation mission. В"Observational mission highly appraised the totals of elections. Leo Platvoet regarded repeat elections very successful if compared to last yearsВ",- Hajiyeva said.
В"Other members of observation mission said there had been some advancements a repeat elections, PACE summer session shall discuss law violations at 6 November elections as well. But some parliamentarians protested this idea, saying Azerbaijans relationships with the CE depend on these repeat electionsВ",- she added.
