During its Plenary Session in Strasburg, the Congress discussed the totals of 2004 municipal elections in Azerbaijan, CE Information office told Trend.
The question of elections invalidation in 141 municipalities of Azerbaijan and the absence of a stated date of re-run elections resulting from violations revealed.
In this respect, the Congress adopted Resolution CG(13)2 envisaging the suspension of the Azeri delegation at the end of 2006 unless local elections are organized to fill the blanks.
