Azeri president Ilham Aliyev on June 27 received German Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Detlef Lingeman, in connection with the completion of his mission in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
Aliyev mentioned the service of the ambassador, noting the successful development of bilateral relations.
Remembering the official visit of Aliyev to German in 2004, the ambassador stressed that the visit was of great importance from the point of view of development of bilateral relations. Lingeman expressed the desire of German government, noting that Aliyev is expected to pay a new visit.
