Azeri President signs a decree in application of law on phito-sanitary control

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the application of the law on Phito-sanitary control, Trend reports.

The Cabinet of Ministers is committed in two months to prepare and present to the President proposals on the unification of existing legislative acts with the law on phito-sanitary control.

The Cabinet of Ministers is committed to define the rules on realization of prophylactic measures directed at protection of quarantine facilities under the phyto-sanitary control, as well as conduct of measures on preservation of planting and application of quarantine of planting; adopt the list of toxic organism used in quarantine, but not found so far, with limited spread and potential danger for the country. Moreover, the Cabinet of Ministers is charged in determining the rules on uniform with distinguishing marks, forms of special certificates, design rules on the implementation of phito-sanitary control facilities belonging to legal and physical entities.
