Azerbaijan Sets Oil Prices in Public Budget at $50 per Barrel  Azeri Minister for Economic Development

Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development, said the oil prices set in the 2007 Public Budget was agreed at $50 per barrel, which is equal to that set in the 2006 budget, Trend reports.

The governmental meeting held on 25 September adopted all documents under the 2007 Public Budget and is now to be submitted to the President's Apparat for approval. At the same time the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft budget forecast and macro-economic indices for 2007.

The draft public budget was proposed by the Ministry of Finances with an income of New Manats (AZN 5361.5m) and expenses of 5740.5m AZN.
