The public and political organizations in Azerbaijan have prepared a statement regarding the decision of the French Parliament. On October 13, a series of political parties, public organizations and NGOs disseminated a statement against the step of the French Parliament, as Trend reports.
Musavat Party declares that such unfair decision not only brings harm to the Turkish-French relations, but also testifies how France adheres to the democratic principles. It is impossible to believe that France may become a fair co-chair in OSCE Minsk Group. This decision of France will negatively affect the Azerbaijani-French relations, it is emphasized in the statement.
Liberation Movement Organization, Our Azerbaijan Political Block bringing together a number of political parties, Azerbaijan Way Political Movement, Republic Youth Movement Ireli (Towards) and other public and political organizations announced their protest against the adoption of the law penalizing the denial of so-called Armenian genocide. The statement condemns the position of France that supports Armenia an undemocratic and aggressor country. Azerbaijan National Independence Party and Our Azerbaijan Political Block plans to hold a rally in front of the French Embassy in Baku.
