Russia's deporting of Georgian citizens' triggers additional problems. Taking into consideration all of the above-mentioned, the Azerbaijani Movement has appealed to the Russian President. In the appeal, they ask the Russian Government to solve the problem with Georgia through negotiation peacefully. Not by using a force.

As a result of the tension in Georgian-Russian relations, not only Georgians, but also representatives of other nations of Georgia are suffering. There are many Azerbaijanis and representatives of other nations who are citizens of Georgia who live and work in Russia. And in this connection, we would like to ask you to solve this issue peacefully, the resolution underlines.

Mr. Gourbanov reminded that the recent deportations of Georgian citizens from Russia does not mean that only Georgian citizens of Georgian origin are deported from this country, since there are a lot of Georgian citizens of Azerbaijani origin.
