Two CIS Summits to Be Held by the End of 2006

Two summits of CIS member-states ( the first one in the Byelorussian capital Minsk, and another in Kazakhstan's capital Bishkek)are expected to be held by the end of the year, Alexander Surikov, Russian Ambassador to Belarus, has told journalists today, Trend reports referring to ITAR-TASS.

As far as I know, the forthcoming summits will be held in Minsk and Astana, said the Russian Ambassador. According to him, the summit to be held in the Byelorussian capital approximately on November 28, will be of a work nature. The other meeting of the Presidents of CIS countries to be held in Kazakhstan will be devoted to the 15th anniversary of the establishment of CIS, ITAR-TASS reports.
