The Head of Ganja Car Factory of Azerbaijan, Khanlar Fatiyev, informed Trend that at the end of January 2007, the Factory will begin the assemblage of the trucks and tractors produced by Minsk Car Factory MAZ and Minsk Tractor Plant.
The contract on the assemblage and sale of all kinds of trucks and tractors of these enterprises was signed at the end of November in Minsk. The assemblage is intended to begin in the 15,000-square meter territory. The Minsk Tractor Plant produces nearly 500 modifications of products, and Car Factory nearly 400. Ganja Car Factory is capable to assemble nearly 1,000 trucks and 1,000 tractors in Azerbaijan annually. The sale of the ready products will be carried out through the dealers of the Factory. The cars of the Chinese Cangan are already assembled in the enterprise.
