Commenting on the results of the meeting of the EU-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Co-operation Committee held on December 13-14 in Strasburg, Mammadov said that a Resolution was passed. It fully satisfies us and almost all positions that are important for us have been reflected in it, the Diplomat said.
Speaking about the Head of the Azerbaijan delegation, Vice-Speaker Valeh Aleskerov, the Ambassador said that he showed himself as a strong chairman. The innovation of the meeting was that for the first time, the simultaneous translation into Azeri language had been ensured. Presently, English and Russian languages had been used at the meetings of the Committee. Mammadov said that the Azerbaijani side made an initiative to hold the next meeting of the Committee not in Baku, but in regions of Azerbaijan. It is made to introduce the European parliamentarians with the culture, traditions and nature of Azerbaijan. The place for conducting the meeting has not been appointed yet.
