Telecommunication Minister: Azerbaijan Telecommunication Ministry Prepares New Tariffs for Intercity Telephone Conversations

Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijan Telecommunication and IT Ministry, said today that currently, due to the completion of the electronization of telecommunication in Baku, as well as creation of technical conditions for the transfer to the system of limits, an issue on introduction of new limits on local telephone conversations has been raised, Trend reports.

According to him, it is necessary to efficient use of the network.

New tariff networks will be aimed at the population not feeling any difference during paying new tariffs on intercity conversations. They will see no harm for themselves. And that is the main principle. The tariffs will be submitted to the Tariff Council for further consideration. Preparatory work for packages with proposals is underway, said the Minister.

Mr. Abbasov also said that alternatives on the payments would be presented to the population. We are about to stimulate the population to involve it to the new system. It is necessary to act very accurately in this issue, said the Minister.
