Azerbaijan and Georgia Agreed on gas Supplies to Georgia in Winter

In results of today negotiations held in Baku, Azerbaijan and Georgia agreed that 1 mln. cubic meters of Azerbaijan gas per day will be exported to Georgia in winter, Trend reports.

Zurab Nogaideli, Georgia Prime-Minister, headed the Georgian delegation in the negotiations with the Azerbaijan Government.

During the negotiations on the energy exchange issue, the construction of transmission lines between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, as well as Azerbaijan participation in the construction of an electric power station in Georgia was discussed.

Nikalaz Gilauri, Georgia Energy Minister, Georgi Arveladze, the Georgian Economy Minister, and Aleko Khetaguri, the President of the Corporation of Oil and Gas of Georgia, arrived to Baku as members of the Georgian delegation together with the Georgian Prime-Minister.
