Vilayat Guliyev, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Poland, exclusively informed Trend that an arrangement dedicated to the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, as well as the New Year was expected to be held by an initiative of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Poland in Warsaw tomorrow, on December 27.
Mr. Guliyev said that 200 Azerbaijanis living in Warsaw were expected to take part in the forthcoming event. During the event, a film about Azerbaijan will be screened, and Azerbaijan national music will sound. Representatives of Polish youth circles and journalists are expected to participate in the arrangement as well.
The Azerbaijani Ambassador said that few days ago, a friendship evening party between Azerbaijani and Polish students was held in the Adam Matskevitch University of Poznan City. During the event, quizzes dedicated to Azerbaijan were organized. Representatives of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Warsaw and teachers gave speeches during the arrangement.
2,000 Azerbaijanis live in Poland today. 200 out of them live in the Capital of the Country Warsaw.
