After completing the monitoring in 65 district elections, the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC) started the same measures in 35 other district elections, Trend reports quoting the CEC.
On January 22nd, the monitoring group of the CEC began inspections at the district elections in the districts of Goychay, Agdash, Gakh, Gabala, Oguz, Alibayramli, Salyan, Nefchala, Belasuvar, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Hajigabul, Gobustan, Khizi, Guba, Devechi, Siyazan, Khachmaz, Agjebedi, Agdam, Ujar, Zardab and Lachin.
Serious inspections will be made over financial & technical provision of the district elections; exact information on citizens; whom have not been included in the list of electors, provision of the juridical-normative acts and registration of citizens' appeals. The results of previous monitoring are verified by the CEC.
