The Chairman of Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP), Ayaz Rustamov, informed Trend that on 16 February 2007 the party will hold an action in front of the Embassy of Iran in Baku.
On February 7, a letter on action was sent to the Executive Power of Baku City. The action is held to support the national movement in South Azerbaijan and protest against repressing the participants of the national movement. The Chairman of opposition ANIP, Etibar Mammadov, is the Co-chair of International Democracy Union.
