Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr I. Alizadeh / An Organizing Committee on Preparations for Congress of the Azerbaijani Democratic Party (ADP) headed by the ex-speaker Rasul Guliyev will consider the renaming of the Party. Aydin Guliyev, a member of the Committee, informed that the matter has not yet been discussed.
"The matter is possible to be discussed in the Organizing Committee before the Congress. The proposal to rename of the Party backed up by the majority can be announced at the Congress. If the proposal is backed by the majority, the issue will be resolved in accordance with their wish," Guliyev added.
The ADP headed by the Ex-Speaker Rasul Guliyev, an emigrant to the United States, split up into two parts: the supporters of Guliyev and the supporters of his Ex-First Deputy Sardar Jalaloghlu.
