Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / On 8 June, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the delegation of Bahrain led by the Kingdom's Foreign Affairs Minister Khalid Bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa.
The President characterized Azerbaijan-Bahrain relations as successfully developing. He stressed the necessity to expand relations in political, economic, cultural and other areas pointing to good prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
President Aliyev expressed confidence this visit by the Bahraini delegation to Azerbaijan will promote further development of bilateral relations.
Foreign Minister Khalid Bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings from the King, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Bahrain to President Ilham Aliyev. He said that he witnessed big positive changes occurring in Azerbaijan since his first visit to the country a year ago. The Minister also expressed hope for expansion of bilateral cooperation in all fields.
President Aliyev asked the Bahraini Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to his Kingdom's leadership.
