Azerbaijan, Shamkir / Тrend corr I. Alizadeh / Illegal migration via Azerbaijani borders is decreasing, the head of the State Border Service (SBS), Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev, said on 8 June.
Guliyev noted that one of the main directions in the activities carried out by SBS is fight against illegal migration and organization of the work in this connection at check-points. "Improvement of technical basis enables enduring fight against illegal migration. At present we do not have problems in that field," the head of the SBS stated
Guliyev also mentioned the activities of the Inter-Governmental Delimitation Commission of Azerbaijan and Georgia. According to the Lieutenant-General, the most of the issues related to disputable territories at the borders has been coordinated and the talks in this connection are in progress.
