Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli, K.Ramazanova / The 21st meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of Emergency Ministers set up its work in Baku on 1 August. The sides signed a document on cooperation in removal of outcomes natural and technogeneous catastrophes. The chairmanship at the CIS Council of Emergency Ministers was shifted to Azerbaijan for a year term.
The meeting began on 29 July. Attending the gathering were the Emergency Ministers from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries.
The 22nd session of the CIS Council of Emergency Ministers will be held in Tajikistan next year and the 23rd in Russia.
