Georgian President to Visit Georgia’s Marneuli Region Populated with Azerbaijanis
Georgia, Tbilisi / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / The Georgian President, Mikhael Saakashvili, will visit Georgia's Kvemo Kartli region populated with Azerbaijanis, as well as Marneuli, on 4 September. While being in Marneuli the President will visit the tinned food factory which opened 3 days ago, according to the Georgian President's Administration.
The factory is a processing enterprise established within the framework of '100 Processing Enterprises' program. The program envisages the attraction of investments to the agrarian sector. The new enterprise will also process fruit. The opening of the plant will enable 10,000 families in Marneuli to put forward their own products for processing. Some 80-85 new jobs will be opened.
The President will meet with the residents in that region and will open several new facilities.
