Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Z.Safarov /The Azerbaijani wrestler of Greek-Roman style, Rovshan Bayramov (55 kg) defeated the Armenian wrestler, Roman Amoyan, during the World Championships in the Sport Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev. Bayramov defeated Amoyan 3 to 1.
Another Azerbaijani wrestler, Farid Mansurov (66kg) defeated Endriks Artegi, from Venezuela.
Vitali Rahimov, the European champion, did not defeat Ji Khun Sungu, the North Korean wrestler.
