Georgian Azerbaijanis Demand to Establish Commission to Consider Accusations against Georgian President

Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Georgian Azerbaijanis demand to establish a special commission to consider accusations brought against the Georgian President, Mikhael Saakashvili. The accusations was brought against the President by the former Georgian Defence Minister, Irakli Okruashvili, were quite severe, Ali Babayev, the leader of the 'My Motherland' NGO, said to the Trend Agency.

Georgian Azerbaijanis are feeling concern about accusations brought against the President which caused damage to the President and the country's image.

However, detention of Okruashvili and charge against him with corruption was ungrounded, Babayev considerd.

"Georgian Azerbaijanis took part at the rally held in front of the Georgian Parliament, as people want to know the truth," Babayev said.

'My Motherland' NGO will be invited into the Council of opposition parties, which was founded for releasing of Irakli Okruashvili, Babayev said.
