( FF ) - Jack Nicholson is a feminist.
The notorious womaniser - who was raised believing his grandmother was his mother, while his real mom pretended to be his sister - says his upbringing taught him to respect women.
Jack, who famously claimed to have bedded 2,000 women, said: "I was raised by two strong woman. I heard all I needed to hear on their knee. I heard, 'You think this 'pr**k' would have treated a man like this in a business deal?'
"In that way I was familiar with feminism long before the newspapers."
The Oscar-winning star also credited his mother and grandmother for making him "want to be a better man" - a line from his hit movie 'As Good As It Gets' - and not his former lover of 17 years, actress Anjelica Huston.
Jack, 70, said: "No, it was long before Anjelica. The women who most influenced me were who raised me."
