Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 September / Trend / The Azerbaijani National team gained the first medal in the Beijing Paralympic Games. Ramin Ibrahimov, a judoka, gained this medal.
Ibrahimov won judokas from Russia, Ukraine and again Russia, whilst he lost an Algerian sportsman.
Our judoka could win victory over a British judoka and gain a bronze medal.
Ilkin Alishov, another Azerbaijani judoka ranked the seventh place, although he won the first fight, as well. However, he yielded some points to Algerian Sidali Lamri.
