Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 25 / Trend / Azerbaijani-based TREND News Agency is well known in Russia, and those, who attentively follow the regional news, the news from Azerbaijan and the news flow which comes from the region, highly appreciate TREND Agency, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of RIA Novosti, Alexander Babinski, said during signing a Partnership Agreement with TREND Agency in Baku on Dec. 25.

The document was signed by the Director General of TREND Company, Ilgar Huseynov and Alexander Babinski at the office of TREND Agency. The agreement envisages co-operation with regards to news and multimedia, familiarization with journalistic experience.

"Signing the agreement on news co-operation assume a great significance for us. It is not occasional. Undoubtedly you have general service in this," said Babinski.According to him, RIA Novosti attaches great significance to exchange of information and considers extremely important the operationally different news, which comes from various sources. "For us it is very important to see the entire palette of events and opinions, which are provided on the news reel of your agency and generally in the region," said Babinski.

According to the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of RIA Novosti, it deals not only with the exchange and use of information. "I think that the traditional, good relations and contacts will be established between the personnel of the agencies. It is supposed that we will be able to exchange journalists and share experience," he said.

The Russian-based International News Agency RIA Novosti is a leading multimedia news agency in Russia.
