No official appeal has been made to transfer Azerbaijani national squad captain Rashid Sadikhov. Sadikhov is currently playing for the Turkish Kocaelispor team, Nefchi Vice President Ilgar Guluzade said.
"If Turkish teams make an official appeal to us, then our club president will make the final decision," Guluzade said.
Sadikhov told Trend earlier that Nefchi was demanding a large sum for his transfer, which was preventing him from signing with the Turkish clubs Konyaspor or Kocaelispor.
An official representative of the club did not name the sum required for Sadikhov's transfer.
Nefchi ranks nine in the Azerbaijani Premier League.
Gans Yurgen Gede is the team's head coach.
