Operations to create football totalizators are intensified in Azerbaijan.
"At present, the ministry of youth and sports and the Azerbaijani association of football federations operate to create football totalizators in Azerbaijan," head of the association, Rovnag Abdullayev told media on October 19.
A new clause envisaging financing of sports by lottery and totalizators was added to the bill 'Physical culture and sport' at a meeting of the Milli Majlis's committee in Azerbaijan on June 24.
Before, minister of youth and sports Azad Rahimov told media that financing of sports via totalizator must be legalized in Azerbaijan.
