Azerbaijani boxers successfully perform at the World Youth Boxing Championship, started in Baku.
April 25, Elvin Isayev (57 kg) at the first stage met with Israeli rival Roya Kharmasa, who scored 16:2. In the next stage he will meet with Babur Aytbayev (Uzbekistan) April 27.
Emil Ahmedov in the weight category 69 kg won his rival from Nepal Rohan Pradhan in the battle that lasted 1 minute 5 seconds. Ahmedov will meet with Tolga Dogan (Turkey) at the next stage.
Today Teymur Mammadov (81 kg) and Hajibaba Hajibabayev (91 kg) are expected to perform on the boxing ring.
Mammadov will meet with Estonian boxer Rain Carlson, Hajibabayev - with Armenian Armen Simonyan who represents Ukraine.
