Newly appointed German Head Coach of the Azerbaijani Football Club Baku, Winfried Schaefer, spoke about the club's high chances to win the European league.
"Training of the Baku FC and its psychological disposition are high. I think that the team has very good chances of winning the European league. The club has all possibilities for this," Schaefer told Trend on Saturday.
He said belief in yourself and your strength is very important for victory. "It is very important to maintain control in the field until the very end. First, we must demonstrate the will to win. For this, we should have a good level of training. Every player playing in the field must fight to ensure that the team earned three points and moved to the next round. We will have a battle mood in every game. We'll go out on the field to score points, but not to lose. Our first task will be to ensure high spirit and discipline of the team," Schaefer said.
The Baku FC signed a two-year contract with Schaefer. The club will meet with Buducnost FC from Montenegro in the second round of the European League Club. The first game will be held in Baku July 22.
