Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova will attend the event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the German Institute for Human Rights in Berlin on April 12.
The international event will be attended by ombudsmen of several countries, representatives of the national human rights institutions, well-known experts in the field of human rights, influential international experts and representatives of civil societies, the ombudsman apparatus reported.
Suleymanova will also take part in the OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting to be held in Vienna on April 14-15.
The meeting will discuss various aspects of ensuring and protecting the human rights. The participants will exchange experiences and views.
Suleymanova is expected to address the event on the Azerbaijani human rights institutions' cooperation with government institutions and civil society.
