The Azerbaijani Parliament raised the salary of the Ombudsman to 1,800 manat.
Today's parliamentary meting adopted amendments to Article 16.1 of the Constitutional Law of Azerbaijan "On the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) in Azerbaijan."
Under this article, the Ombudsman receives 1,320 manat.
