Automobile traffic on several streets and avenues is limited with regard to Eurovision-2012 from today.

Traffic in the direction of Bailovo and 14 kilometres of the Baku-Salyan road will be closed on May 19-28 on the eve and during the Eurovision-2012 song contest in Baku, head of the central department of the State Road Police Kamran Aliyev told Trend today. Cars will be able to enter the capital via the ring road.

Movement of vehicles in the direction of Bailovo from 20th section will be also limited. The traffic from the 20th section circle will be directed to Badamdar.

Moreover, the movement from Bailovo to the Oil Industry Workers prospect will be limited. Cars will be directed from Bailovo to Khanlar Street and from there through Highland Park to the Parliament prospect.

Traffic will be restricted from the intersection of Prospects Bulbul and Azadliq with Nizami Street in the direction of Oil Industry Workers prospect.

The way from Nizami Street to Oil Industry Workers prospect will be limited. This movement will be directed from Niyazi Street to the left to the Istiglaliyyet prospect. Movement will be restricted from the intersection of Istiglaliyyet Street in the direction of Aziz Aliyev Street.

The movement from Yusif Safarov Street to May 28 street from the intersection of Yusif Safarov Street and Afiyaddin Jalilov Street with U.Hajibeyov Street will be forbidden. Traffic from Heydar Aliyev Prospect and Yusif Safarov Street will be directed to Tabriz Street.

Five points have been created in the capital to transport Eurovision song contest participants, Aliyev said. Buses will transport people from the points created near the Samad Vurgun Park and Azadliq Square, next to the Museum Centre, Azneft Square, next to Dalga Plaza.

Taking into account the impossibility of parking near the venue of the song contest, the Republican road police urges citizens intending to attend the performance of the event, to arrive by bus or on foot along Seaside Boulevard, rather than by private car.
