Azerbaijan presents seismological stations

A network of stations that provide an opportunity to identify the period of initial preparation of earthquakes, that is the beginning of abnormal seismic processes and to monitor them will be presented in Dubai, Director of the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Telman Aliyev told Trend on Monday.
He noted that there are 5 stations in Azerbaijan, which allow to identify the period of the initial earthquake preparation, that is the beginning of abnormal seismic processes, and to monitor them. They are in Neftchala on Gum Adasi in Naftalan, Shirvan and Siyazan.
Aliyev added that the presentation of a network of stations will be at the most prestigious event on ICT - at ITU Telecom World 2012 - XXIV World Forum of ICT.
The event, which began on Monday, will continue for five days.
Projects of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and other relevant government agencies, the leading IT-companies and ICT projects of the Institute of Information Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will be presented during the event, held under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union.
