The Iranian side presented the proposals on cooperation in the field of postal services to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies told Trend Oct. 9.
The Iranian side's proposals are being considered. The concrete decisions on the cooperation have not been taken yet, the ministry said.
Earlier, the sides voiced the initiative to sign an agreement in the field of telecommunications.
The joint production of telecommunication and computer equipment can be one of the cooperation areas.
Iran produces copper and optic fiber cables. The output allows covering the domestic needs and exporting to the markets of the regional countries.
