Baku has hosted a meeting of heads and representatives of the delegations, which arrived in Azerbaijan for the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics.
Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) Altay Hasanov attended the meeting.
Hasanov greeted the delegates and wished them good luck in the competition.
Hasanov added that this is the first major trampoline gymnastics event in Baku.
He said that despite this, some delegates have already participated in trampoline competitions at the National Gymnastics Arena during the Baku 2015 European Games.
Dmitri Poliaroush, a member of the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee, also addressed the meeting, saying the preparation for the competition stands at a high level.
The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena March 5-6.
Overall, 77 gymnasts (46 men and 31 women), representing 17 countries, will participate in the tournament.
