UNAOC Global Forum in Baku to help define practical, effective solutions

The 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, to be held in Baku, will represent incredible opportunity to harness multiple perspectives of about 2,500 participants and to determine innovative solutions to advance the international agenda, says UNAOC High Representative Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser.
"As a world community, we can no longer afford to disregard our joint responsibility to facilitate inclusive, peaceful, and just societies," said Al-Nasser, read a message posted on the UNAOC website.
"The Forum will be the unique opportunity to find common ground in our humanity and to define practical and effective solutions and global partnerships," he added.
The 7th UNAOC Global Forum will be held in Baku Apr.25-27.
It is planned to hold a meeting with participation of high-ranking officials and about 30 sessions during the Forum.
The Baku Declaration is expected to be adopted during the high-level meeting of the UNAOC Global Forum.
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on July 24, 2015 to create an organizing committee for holding the 7th UNAOC Global Forum in Baku.
