Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on a working visit in Azerbaijan, visited the Chabad Ohr Avner Education Center for Jewish children in Baku together with his wife, Trend correspondent reported from the education center.
Netanyahu met with representatives of the Jewish community of Azerbaijan.
The Israeli prime minister expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the attention given to education, including the education of Jewish children.
The Jewish children’s choir performed Jewish and Azerbaijani songs in front of Netanyahu.
The Chabad Ohr Avner Education Center for Jewish children in Baku was built by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ohr Avner Foundation as part of the “Azerbaijan – The Address of Tolerance” project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
