BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Bust of the famous Azerbaijani playwright Huseyn Javid was presented to the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC), Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov said on Twitter, Trend reports.
"On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijani playwright and hero of the Azerbaijani people Huseyn Javid we presented his bust to the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce," the minister said.
Karimov also said the two sides spoke about the importance of studying Javid's legacy both in Azerbaijan and in the US.
